Car Alarms: car alarm, flip switch, led light

I lost my alarm-fib a while ago and the alarm got activated by a low battery or something,I really don't know.I could not start my car.I found out about the override button and started it.That happened to me once in a while.When I saw the red LED light I knew its override- button time.Until one day I couldn't start the car and no LED light was on.I thought,it can not be the alarm.Because it was in a super market parking lot somebody was fast willing to give me a jump.That didn't help.Stupid me I tried to start with the override button and it started.But now I have to use every time this button to start my car.No LED light shows the activation of the alarm and still it seems to be activated.What's wrong?Not to mention,that I am worrying about the override button breaking and what is then.

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

KEY ON JUST BEFORE CRANKING ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.
KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
If not, remove it, start over with a
fresh install.
