Car Alarms: Car Alarms, alarmtek, toyota camry

Question
I have (or am in charge of fixing) a '92 Toyota Camry wagon with a Chapman car alarm.  I think the alarm is making the car not start.  The car was bought about 3months ago (guy said the alarm was dealer installed in 92) but the alarm system wasnt working and we got no key fobs.  The black alarm box just is in the way of braking and constantly falls down while driving.  I dont even know if the all of the necessary wires are connected.  At this point, the car has been abandoned on the street because it wont start (not that battery)  I just want this hunk of crap out of the car but I dont know how to uninstall it.  
Long story short: How do I uninstall this Chapman alarm from the car so that I can turn it back on and drive it home. I tried the valet button but Im really not sure that is working either.

ps. just got the car back from the shop after having a fuel pump line go down
