Car Alarms: Pursuit series Pro 9244, mazda miata, radiator leak

Question
System is on a 1993 Mazda Miata.  Radiator leak prevented use in the winter months, while driving my Jeep.  No hurry to replace the radiator and the alarm drained the battery and one day I heard the alarm dying to silence as if someone shot it.  It has not worked since even though the car is back up and running fine.  No other electrical problems noticed.  Suggestions?

Answer
Removal. I mean you could try to shore it up, but
likely as not, if it's an older system, when the power came back
up with the new battery, it popped a fuse or burnt a circuit.

Replacement is a better way to actually rely
on the security you have, with fresh remotes,
and a new set of equipment to protect the vehicle.

You can of course track down the blown fuse and
use it again, but no guaranty it will solve the initial
burn out issue it had that brought you here.

Good luck with it.
