Car Alarms: Chapman Alarm, toggle switch, mm6

Question
I have a chapman alarm with key fob number GOH-MM6-101890

The keyfob will not arm the alarm anymore instead it puts it on panic, making the alarm go off.  The disarm button tries to unlock it still and disarms the alarm. The disarm button used to unlock the doors when this started earlier today but no it only tries to unlock the trunk.

I don't know if this could hurt anything but the siren's positive wire came loose and i had to reattach it but there was no eviedince it grounded.

Is my alarm going bad or is it the key fob.  I also want to know how to disarm the system where would my toggle switch be?

Answer
I'd pull the unit and start over.
Hard to say what is the problem without resetting.
Powering down the unit and going over the manual for
assistance may help, but if it's me, I take
it out and put in a new one with fresh remotes that I
can control in all eventualities.

Makes for a better, more secure experience.
