Car Alarms: TRC 90-RANT/series car alarm, remote car starter, alarmtek

I have a TRC 90-RANT series Car alarm with the factory original 4 button remote. I own a second hand 1991 Cadillac Devill, So I do not have ANY documentation or knowledge of the location of the equipment. But I will end up locating it if the need arises. I am wishing to add a remote car starter and I want to use the 4th, unused star button on the remote (if possible) so I do not have even MORE things to add to my key chain :)  My question is: How do I accomplish this? not step by step instructions per-say (but if you got the time, please) but what extra equipment do I need to buy/locate on the car to do this? Also what remote car starter would be the most compatable with what i am trying to do.... Or do you think I should just say screw it and get a separate car starter that bypasses the car alarm and suffer with the extra piece on my key chain? lol

Well, hard to tell you the wires for the TRC
piece. But if it were me, for the time and
trouble it would take you to locate the wiring
for the TRC. I'd simply start fresh.

But either way you go with this,
your car needs a bypass for the PASSLOCK system
in the ignition column, and 3 relays for locks
and trunk release.

I do have alot of packages that would fit the
bill here, but of course you can try to locate
more on the TRC at my forum www.installsupport.com .

Might get lucky and find a tech there who
has something on that alarm you have, and will
guide you on this.

Anyway, good luck with the project.
