Car Alarms: 94 Chevy S-10 GM Goodwrench Security System, gm goodwrench, butt connector

I can't find any information about this system anywhere. It is the system that came with the truck in 1994. It isn't the fancy system, just the basic with a single toggle to turn it on and a momentary pushbutton to disarm it. After working on the battery, I can't get the thing to turn off (car horn and engine disable. After a lot of button pushing and key switching it actually turned itself off when I wasn't touching it. Now the engine won't start, but the horn quit. I don't know what to do. The alarm didn't seem to want to turn off by the normal method and now the engine won't start....Accch!

Ok, try this.
Loacte the YELLOW wire in the ignition switch.
On it will be a relay that was installed.
Cout out the relay, and using a big yellow butt
connector, put the to free ends together
and crimp.

That takes out the "starter kill" in this truck.
