Car Alarms: Aps997 remote start and security, car alarm installation, alarmtek

Question
My siren started a constant chirp in a parking lot one day last fall and we didn't know why. The remote wouldn't work right either.  We disconnected the siren right there.  I haven't used the remote since but now the LED light is constantly blinking and will not go away.  I finally found the valet switch and turned the key to on and held but didn't work.  I would really like to get this fixed and start using it again.  Please help.
