Car Alarms: help, macanic, factory oem

Question
I had a Freedom alarm system installed on my car a while ago and now i'm haveing a problem with my car it will not start and my macanic thinks that it might be the alarm system failing some how because the alarm light on the dash is a steady red untill you try to start it then it blinks but when you turn off the igniation it beeps once the car cranks over but will not start the place I had it installed will not check it out they keep telling the macanic to pull the fuses on the alarm and it will disconnect the alarm will it really disconnect the alarm and let the car startif it's the alarm failing???? please help

Answer
If the car cranks, but does not start, it's NOT the Freedom
alarm. Depending on the make, model & year, it's likely
to be either a factory OEM alarm or a transponder/passlock
ignition fuel cut off system keeping you in place.

What is the make, model and year?
