Car Alarms: passlock alarm, gm service, trail blazer

Question
I have a trail blazer 2002.  the battery went dead & we changed it.  The alarm was didconected before. sence the new battery was installed the alarm keeps going off & won't alow the Blazer to start. How do we fix this. any suggestions.

The PASSLOCK system is triggered.
You did that when the truck powered down &
GM will need to reset it now.

You can try key in ignition, turn to the on position
for 10 minutes and then the system MIGHT relearn
and allow the long tamper mode to reset.

If not, call GM service and explain.
They will need you to tow it in for a code writer
to be applied and the PASSLOCK system to be reset.

Those are the options.
