Answer
Candice.
Your issue is 2 fold. The PASSLOCK 2 system
in the ignition can be bypassed as long as the engine
can currently start. The module that does the bypass
needs to read RPM rate to program.
Once done, PASSLOCK is rendered inert.

At this point, no GM security. This device
is the PLJX bypass kit for 69.95.

Then if you want to get a really decent 2 way system
for the truck, look at the K9-ECLIPSE with 2 LCD
2way remotes. This one has over 1200 foot tested
range, and will notify you immediately upon breach.
I choose this one ove the ASTRA 777, which is nice
too, but only 900 to 1000 foot range, and comes
with only 1 LCD 2 way remote, and 1 4 button 1 way.

Have a look at www.STARTbyREMOTE.com
and when ready, write to me at INSTALLSUPPORT@AOL.COM
or call 813 850-5000 to place your order directly.

I hope I can help you with this.
