Car Alarms: Prestige (Viper) Car Alarm APS2K4MS - tailgate door is locked, jeep liberty, installation manuals

This alarm is an after-market alarm for a 2002 Jeep Liberty.  Somehow, I pressed some combination of buttons wrong, and my tailgate door is locked.  When I hit the unlock button, my other doors unlock and the rear window above the gate lifts up, but I cannot unlock the gate door.  I cannot even unlock the tailgate door with my car key. I cannot locate my owners manual, and I cannot find the manual on the internet. Please help - thanks.
