Car Alarms: Suggestions on after market car alarm on Honda CRV LX, honda crv, car alarms

I have recently bought 08 Honda Crv Lx. It comes with engine immobilizer, keyless entry and panic alarm but does not have any car alarm installed. How effective is engine immobilizer ? What are the good car alarms [looking for 2-way pager alarm without remote start] which can be installed on it without interfering with the existing security features.
I have looked at Viper, Commando, astra777, Galaxy but not sure which is more reliable and has good after sale support. Also Is bestbuy/circuit city good place to get these installed?

Well, if asking for an opinion on the CRV, I'd lean towards
the ASTRA 777 or the K9-ECLIPSE. Skip the Viper stuff.
Too pricey and not all that great. End User (you)
customer support is virtually non exsistant.

But I supply the support on the others.
(Commando included, but for this vehicle
the choices I made would work better for over all range)

Both are easy to interface to this vehicle, both
have outstanding range, with the K-9 being a bit
more thorough as far as included equipment and
the remotes can change the picture on the LCD
to reflect the vehicle it's being used in. Cool.
