Car Alarms: 93 chevy G20 centurion car alarm, chevy g20, joy drop

Question
QUESTION: 93 chevy G20 centurion car alarm will not allow the van to start. replaced the battery and van started fine. Went somewhere and got in van and it will not start. had to be towed home on a flatbed. That was two weeks ago and van still will not start. I have a remote for it and it locks and unlocks the doors. I also have a toggle switch that has on/off. That gives me a red light when it is on. Even in the off position the van will not start. I have power to van. Please I cant even drive my vehicle.

ANSWER: Might be the procedure. Try key on, flip the
switch in the oposite direction, key off.
Then try to start it. If no joy, drop
the panel below the steering column, locate the starter wire
(yellow or purple in the ignition switch harness)
cut out the alarm's starter kill relay, and re attach
the 2 free ends of the starter wire back together.

Then, if it does not start, you have other issues.

Let me know what happens.

QUESTION: Tried what you stated, did not work, there are several harnesses there. How do I know which one is to the alarm. I do see the shock sensor Pro9094C. How do I trace the starter kill relay and what does it look like?

Answer
The easiest way as I said, was to locate the
alien wiring on the starter wire in the ignition harness
and remove/repair. Don't worry about the brain box
of the alarm right now. Need to get it started ma'am.

Take a digi photo of the ignition harness, The one
that comes off of the key switch, and send it to me
to look over. I will send back the item circled
if showing that needs to be extracted.
Then locate and remove the relay they put in
line for starter kill.
