Car Alarms: spurious alarms, bmw 330i, resident technicians

I recently purchased a BMW 330i sport. Since I removed the CD receiver to return to Kenwood for a warranty repair, I have experienced random alarms, often under a minute after I have  locked the vehicle using the remote key. The CD receiver in now reinstalled and random alarms still occur, maybe 2-3 times a week. A siren sounds intermittently and the trafficators flash. I have checked all doors are closed and boot/bonnet secured. Any advice please? I believe the anti theft system is a BMW factory fitted unit.
