Car Alarms: 1999 Mazda 626 Factory Alarm Problem, alarm security system, original equipment manufacturer

Question
QUESTION: My alarm intermittently goes off, both horn and lights flash for no apparent reason.  Car was in an accident months ago and hood replaced.  Seems to do it for no known reason.  I saw referenced a hood sensor in another posting and I looked for something obvious but I see nothing that looks like an alarm sensor in the engine compartment.  Once you put`the key in and start all goes back to normal. Seems to go off more often when using the auto clicker to lock the door than if you manually flip the lock switch upon exiting the car?  Any ideas???

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: This is a factory alarm system.  I bought the car new and it's not been modified by me.  When you lock the car with the key fob it will after some minutes or sometimes hours just randomly alarm.  Headlights flash and the car horn honks, not a siren.  The red SECURITY light on the dash also flashes.  I located the hood switch and it seems to be engaging properly.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
There is a fix, but that's a bit of a problem here.
Because yours is a "FACTORY" or, OEM
(original Equipment Manufacturer) "alarm/security" system,
then the disabling procedure info for any given
specific vehicle is now deamed to be too sensitive to
publish here (as suggested by ALLEXPERTS administration.!).

So, to comply, as of March,22 08, this service is no longer
part of the volunteer information I can offer for free here at
ALLEXPERTS.com . Specific OEM/FACTORY alarm disarm/disabling
info is now available ONLY at the WIREWERX.

My installation wiring charts provide the proper wire colors,
polarities, and locations to install a keyless entry,
remote start or, car alarm system into any given vehicle,
or if just trying to disarm/disable your factory/OEM system,
there is a link there to get a tutourial on how to do it yourself
for only $2.99.

I hope you can appreciate the legal reasons behind not
providing this info any longer to just anyone who asks
for general consumption. By doing it this way, I'll
get a record of payment and a name/email address as
a stop gap to help prevent any unauthorized disabling of
your system or anyone elses, by a would be car thief!

Please go to the WIREWERX so I can get you the
info you require to fix your situation.

Good luck with this issue.
