Car Alarms: jeep cherokee factory alarm, jeep cherokee, begining

Question
okay i will start from the begining, about a month ago i asked a question here about how i could disactivate the factory alarm because i had lost the remote. so they told me to split the purple and yellow wire in the kickpannel and gound it. so i did and the jeep worked great. then one day i was driving and i accedently kicked the wire while driving and it disconnected well when i got home and tried to move it it would not start so i checked the wire and it was dissconnected. i didnt use it for about two days but when i was going to use it i connected the wire and know it will not start. the alarm does not go on or anything it just doesnt start or crank. do you think me kicking the wire and disconnecting it while driving had anything to do with it,  or can it be the starter. i really need help thanks

Answer
Could be a number of things from a computer to a short in the ignition switch at this point. Hard to say.

Without being there, I can't inspect the issue.
Spit balling here.....if it's me,
I would start with a fresh battery, let the alarm
reset, then ground it again an
HIDE THE WIRE OUT OF SITE THIS TIME!
