Car Alarms: mr2 alarm, keyfobs, security light

hi I've just purchased a 1998 Toyota mr2 and have a prob with the alarm. Firstly when you unlock and open the door the hazard lights flash for about 10 seconds but no siren, then when you turn the key it starts and runs fine but the red security light stays on. I don't have the keyfobs for the alarm can you think of anyway to cure the hazard/security light. Could i simply buy a new keyfob and program it to work with the original system if so any idea's how to do it

As far as replacement or programming, I am not the guy you need.
Says that on the front of the site.

But on this one, look at past postings on valet overide.
You system sounds like it's engaged, and needs to be reset.

Then try sites like keynfob.com or remotesunlimited.com for
replacement remotes.
