Car Alarms: car alarm removal, isuzu trooper ii, wire colors

Question
I have a 1989 Isuzu trooper II and it has an after market alarm system that has never worked right.  I got the remote when i bought the car but i have moved since and i stopped using it because it was a hassle and now i cant find it. Anyways the alarm system has put a kill switch on my car and i cannot stop it and i need to know how to remove it so i can use my car again . . i hope you can help. Thanks
