Car Alarms: Interference with remote, antenna field, alarmtek

My neighbours and I have an intermittent problem that the remotes will neither open nor close the car doors. Cars are all different makes.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, it's not rare either.
The FCC allows for overlaping radio frequencies
to a certain point, and you are near a radiating antenna field
or a radio annomolly of some sort where you live.
Not uncommon at all, but no fix other then getting
a different frequecy system that is shielded better
like an FM system.

Alot of OEM & after market remotes have this trouble.

Look up the FCC rules and regs on allowing
frequency interference, and your options when affected.
