Car Alarms: Viper remote reset, support inquiry, batery

Question
Hi my viper remote battery went flat last night, when i changed the batery over this morning, my remote seemed to have lost signal with my car, wont open lock start. however if you set the alarm off by - key opening the car it shows up on the remote as alarm being sounded. how do i reset my remote?
