Car Alarms: Remote Starter for 2005 Passat TDI, egg harbor, remote starter

Want to have a remote starter installed in my 2005 Passat TDI but not at the risk of damaging my car or having problems.  I've heard a lot of horror stories.  Could you recommend a system and an installer in the Central New Jersey area>

Honestly, if it's me, I'd skip it.
Hard to do in this car. If you do want to do it
though, I do have people in South east Jersy (egg harbor)
and up in Masapequa NY on the island.

But really, tough vehicle to do, and will be costly.

But I'd still try to talk you out of it.
You really need a decent tech under there
for that car.
