Car Alarms: sidewinder alarm malfunction, power locks, car work

Question
Alarm worked (unlocked doors and deactivated) when leaving work. Got home, drivers door would noy unlock, and now alarm system doesnt unlock or lock doors when activated, however, it still goes on and off (chirps) as usual, and blasts the siren when I oped door while activated.
The power locks in the car work fine, but now drivers door won't unlock and i have a hard time crawling over the center console.  Car is 1998 Honda Accord, sidewinder 5000 installed when new by my sister-in-law.  I have owned it for two years with no prior problems.  Any help?
