Car Alarms: help with killswitch, 2003 nissan murano, nissan murano

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2003 Nissan Murano with a kill switch system from Silent Guardian.  I tried to start my car last night and while it tries to start, it just won't turn over.  I think there may be something wrong with the alarm but don't know how to disarm it.  Can you please help?

ANSWER: I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: it's not an alarm.  i have one of those and it's from the factory.  the kill switch works differently.  it's armed all the time until you press a button on a remote that looks like the alarm; this allows you to start the car.  it's not making any noises or not allowing me to open the doors.  it's simply not allowing me to turn the car on.  it is an after market device from the company silent guardian.

Answer
Ok, I do not know this system.
The only offer I can make here
is to describe the wires that this
system is probably connected to,
and from that , you can locate,
cut out, and re-attach the free
ends of the 2 starter wires:

Starter 1  BLACK/RED (+)
IN THE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS LARGE GUAGE
Starter 2  BLACK/YELLOW (+)
IN THE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

This takes out the effectiveness of the
aftermarket system. You can then remove
& and or replace it.

If you want to try the forum,
www.installsupport.com , you may
also find one of my resident install
techs there that might have more on it.

I hope this was helpfull.
