Car Alarms: Chapman Alarm System, honda accord, chirps

Question
I have a 1996 Honda Accord with a Chapman alarm system installed. When replacing the battery, the car alarm goes off as it is supposed to. I would reset the alarm, but the valet/override button happens to be broken off and there is no way I would be able to press it. What are my best options to take? Should I disable and remove the alarm? If so, how would I do so. I've already removed the knee bolster and found the alarm system connected with a whole mess of wires.    I'm not sure what I should do next.

Answer
Ok then, get over to the local car alarm shop,
or even a Circuit City or Best Buys will
have a valet switch that will fit for your
alarm.

In the mean time, cut off the switch part,
leaving the 2 wires that wer connected, free.

Then twist together, turn on the ignition,
hold both wires to ground until the siren chirps.

That should reset and place the alarm into
over ride for now. Nothing accept the keyless entry
if installed will operate until you repeat the
same steps.

Then get a new switch and you're all set.

Have a good evening.
Let me know if you were
successful.
