Car Alarms: 1998 Subaru Legacy keyless entry valet overide switch, subaru lagacy, override switch

I'm having trouble locating the valet/override switch for my 1998 Subaru Lagacy keyless entry. I recently replaced the battery and after the new battery was installed the lights blink until as I suppose some sort of security feature. Previously my key fob made the blinking lights stop by pressing the unlock button but my key fob no longer works. I was told there was a switch on the keyless entry box under the dash and while the box is extremely easy to find and well marked I can't find the switch (or button) for the life of me. My question is can you help me locate this switch, or is there another method to make the blinking lights stop without the key fob? Thanks.

Normally, it's drilled into the plastic kick panel area.
Spring loaded button, or toggle. It also possible
that the installer did not put it in.

But no way to tell from here.

Keep looking, and if no joy, unplug the
brain box under the dash and get a replacement.
