Question
I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu, and 4 to 5 times a day the car alarm will go off for no apparent reason.  The headlights will flash and the horn will sound for about 10-15 seconds, and then the alarm will stop just as suddenly as it has started.  This has been going on for about a week now.  I can't make heads or tails of it.

Answer
I am think it's a passlock malfunction,
but hard to say without inspection.

On this one, the best thing here is

with this project.
