Car Alarms: Remote Start stop working, resident technicians, remote start

Question
I was in car accident after getting car out of shop my remote start no longer works.  When I hit the button on the side of the remote with the key on it twice it makes a sound and then flashes inhibit.  What does this mean and how can I fix it so I can have remote start working again?
