Car Alarms: checkmate care alarm, remote transmitters, resident technicians

Question
I just purchased a used car with a checkmate car alarm.  is there a way to disconnect the feature where the car automatically locks after a minute or so. Also- can additional remotes be purchased for this system.  we did not know about the aftermarket system until researching the internet and visiting a hyundai dealer who did not recognize the alarm

Answer
The best thing here is
to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project. I don't know enough
on this manufacturer's
system to advise you properly.

On the remotes, try a site like www.keylessride.com.
www.keynfob.com , or www.remotes4you.com
for providing replacement remote transmitters
and programming them. That is they're specialty.

I hope this helps some.
