Car Alarms: My car started by itself last night., valet remote starter, preset stations

Hi, last night our 2001 Honda Accord, with a Valet remote starter, started on its own.  Also, lately when we get in the car, the radio preset station will have switched a few degrees so it is a bit "static-y".  Just repressing one of the preset stations fixes this with no problem.  Would you think this sounds like a problem(or setting)in the Valet starter...or (because of the radio)does it sound like a bigger problem with the car's electrics?
