QuestionQUESTION: Both my keyless remotes will not disarm the alarm to my truck. I place a new battery in both of them. We messed around with the battery wire to the truck and some how trigger it to disarm the system. Can you tell me what may be going on

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?
Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take, to help you to fix this

QUESTION: Ok the remote will not disarm the alarm at all. Nothing happens its like the alarm on the truck is not detecting the remote. We even tried unlocking the door which inturn made the alarm go off, placed the key in the ingition and press the unlock button and it still did not work. I hope this helps you out!!!

QUESTION: Yes the siren went off when we just used the key to open the door then messed with the battery wires and that when the alarm triggeres and the siren went off.
AnswerOk, try this.
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button, found under the dash area, usually to the
left of the leg drilled into a hidden away spot,
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes off, and the siren chirps twice.
(Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type.
in this case, key on, flip switch in oposite direction,
key off.)
This should reset the alarm.
