Car Alarms: auto start car alarm going nuts???, ultrastart, start car

Question
This is a strange one guys (or gals!). I love jeeps and just bought a 2003 Liberty which is great. Only problem owner had a 'special' so he says alarm put on at the dealership when bought which is driving me nuts. It has auto car start and stop!; which could be ok; but is set so sensitive that literally if you touch or just tap the car it goes off. also doors lock in 30 seconds all the time, locked my keys in already twice! the module I have found, left kick panel driver side. only says U-2250A (auto trans only) 2250ALPO07   and a P07. any idea where I go to get some info on resetting this. there is a jumper with three positions but don't see any other optons. A brand or manufacturer would be helpful if you know this one. thanks for any comments you may have and have a good one out there in the hills.

Answer
Try the tech support at www.ULTRASTARTERS.com
They should be able to assist you with some
advice as to turn it down. I think you can
also get the manual/pdf file download there
for it too.

The unit is the Ultrastart 2250/2270 car alarm/remote starter, and it is set up for passive arming.
They should be able to help you reset the features.

Good luck with it.
