Car Alarms: Chapman kill switch hood lock, jeep camanche, valet service

Question
I purchased a 1987 jeep camanche truck, it has a chapman kill switch/hood lock installed in it, the key that was given to me is the wrong one, I accidently engaged the lock and cannot start the truck nor get under the hood to try to bypass it.

I am not sure what to do at this point PLEASE...any advice at all would be usefull.
I tried calling a jeep dealer, they recommended calling US auto security...they do not answer, I tried finding the Chapman manufacturer...cannot locate one.
Don't know if a locksmith is the 1st place to start or is there a way to open it up...I am stranded at work 50 miles from home.
Please feel free to e-mail me if possibe.

Answer
Gotcha, let's put it into valet/service mode,
and try to reset the alarm to default mode.

Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.

At this point. the alarm would have reset.
If this had a starter kill relay installed,
it would now be opened, and the engine would
turn over when tried.

You would repeat these steps to go back to
user mode to see if this was corrected.

Let me know if it works for yours.
