Car Alarms: 98 Acura 2.3CL, blinking red light, alarmtek

Question
QUESTION: My alarm has just started going off sitting in the driveway.  Within 30 minutes of locking the doors, it goes off.  I reset it and 30 minutes later, off it goes.  This started out of the blue after I had the drivers side window put back on track.  Could something have happen in the door??
Thanks for your input

ANSWER: Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take, to help you to fix this
situation you're in quickly.

QUESTION: Thanks for the reply.  It is a factory alarm system as it has a factory remote and a red light on the drivers door that read security wiht a blinking red light when armed. A siren goes off and the headlights blink.

Answer
Sounds like there may have been a missed connector
when they put the door back together.
The trouble on this security system is it is part of
the door locks. They are not seperate entities, so
you can not simply disarm it.

I'd advise you to go back to the shop
and have them look over the re assembly.
