i would like to know how to check to see if my car has alarm and remote starter installed. what do i look for under the hood?

Answer
You don't. If you did, it'd be under the dash Rob.
You will need to drop the under dash panels,
and inspect the area around the steering column.
to be sure.

But likely as not, there would be a remote
with a button on it to do the remote start.
I am guessing you don't have one in there
if you have no knowledge of it at this point.

Go under and look to see.
