Answer
A bit involved, but here's what is
going on, and how to correct it.

Normally in the Grand Cherokee, you would insert
the key in the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
VIOLET/YELLOW  (-) LOCATED
IN THE DRIVER'S KICK PANEL AT THE "BLACK PLUG"

Also located in the same 14 pin black
connector as the separate door trigger wires.
The BCM located between the steering column
and the drivers kick panel. The plug is located
in the drivers side front corner of BCM just behind
the knee bolster. All wires in the plug exit
straight down.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

Please give these notes to a qualified
car alarm/remote start technician to
apply to your vehicle to solve this issue
for good.

However, keep in mind at this point, this truck would
be easy to steel, so I suggest you get an after market
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

Have a good day.
