Car Alarms: Viper 600 HF Code Plus Alarm, auto reply, yellow button

Question
I have a viper 600HF Code Plus alarm in a car I just purchased and can not get the alarm and the lock and unlock to work with the remote.  I put a new battery in the remote and it still does not work.  Can you help me? Thanks!
