Car Alarms: BMW 750IL False alarms, bmw 750il, false alarms

Question
QUESTION: Why does my alarm go off in about 15 minutes ,like clockwork, after I lock the car? My German technician in Indiana looked at it, and didn't fix it. I asked him to just disable it, but he said it could not be done. Is it a sensor? Maybe motion related?

ANSWER: Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Many veriables on this vehicle &
I Require a bit more imput please.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?

QUESTION: I'll check closer, but I know it's OEM, not A/M system. The headlights flash, and horn sounds simultaneously for about a minute, followed by just the lights for a bit, then back into the lights and horn mode. I believe it will do it for quite a while. I think my technician mentioned motion sensor as a potential malfunction. CAN IT BE DISABLED?
ANSWER: Ok, the trouble here is that the "OEM" system
is part of the locking system. IE:
lock the doors=arm the alarm
unlock the doors=disarm the alarm.

Usually it's done by remote. You can also
disarm it by key in the drivers door,
turn left all the way first to disarm,
then right to unlock. If no joy there,
then you do have an issue I can't advise on.
It's a basic ground to disarm system.
If malfunctioning, BMR is the only way
to go for evaluation/repair.

You can add an aftermarket keyless entry to
perform the task if you do not have one
on there now, but that's all I know about
the system you have.

Let me know what ended up being the
solution.

Good luck.

QUESTION: OK - I think the answer is that when I lock the door, either with key or remote, the alarm is set (which eventually will malfunction)and then there is no way to disarm unless I unlock. I want to lock without the alarm on, or fix the problem.

Answer
Then since I can't look at it,
take it to an after market alarm install shop for
an overall inspection to determine the
best course of action. Factory alarms are
not my forte', but it seems that there is
an open circuit conflict, and no way to know
from my vantage point. I need you to get
a fresh set of eyes on this to see
what's happening.
