Car Alarms: 1995 f150 alarm, hazard lights, chirp

Question
I went into my garage this morning to start my truck and it was dead, so a friend jumped it for me. it still won't start,(bought this truck used)it has a LED light on the left of the steering column and underneath the dash is a toggle switch AND a little black button. I cannot see anywhere on this alarm who made it. I am assuming it is an after market alarm. When the battery was charged the truck made a clicking sound and it looked like the hazard lights were on,  I tried flipping the toggle and holding the button...nothing  and now the truck is totally dead, like it drained the battery again? geez..can you tell I am a woman? *sigh anyway I flipped the toggle so many times I don't know what position it was in to begin with. I am at a total loss, if you could shed any light on this it would much be appreciated. Thanks

Answer
ok, only 1 of those disables the alarm.
The procedure is:

KEY ON
PRESS AND HOLD BUTTON IN
UNTIL 1 CHIRP OR CHIRP, CHIRP IS HEARD.
Then key off.

This is valet or overide mode.
You would repeat the same steps to
go back to last armable mode.

If it's the toggle switch,
Key on, flip in oposite direction, key off. done.

Now if none of that applies, then we
have to discuss removal and or repair.

Let me know.
