QuestionI have a 2007 Toyota Tundra and the auto door locks do not lock after getting out of the truck. I am wondering if it is possible that this has been turned off and if so can I turn it back on. I am 200 miles from the dealer.
AnswerCall Toyota to start, but cjhanging settings is
unlikely if it's a factory system.
If aftermarket, there would be a feature setting
you can change to allow for auto lock/unlock.
I would suggest starting off by calling
service at Toyota to make sure
of what you have. If you find it's after market,
go to www.keynfob.com and using your remote, ident.
what system you have using the FCC ID#
on the back. You can then contact the
manufacturer and get the feature programming info
needed.
