Car Alarms: 1995 Nissan Maxima, nissan maxima, alarmtek

Question
I have a 95 Nissan Maxima with factory alarm.  My problem is, a few weeks ago, my key stopped registering when my car was put into park, and I can not remove the key.  (This means that I can not lock my driver side door, or set the alarm.) Yesterday during a storm, my alarm started going off for no reason, and because my key is in the ignition, I could not shut it off by unlocking the driver door.  I tried my remote, but it is not doing anything either.  I have disconnected the alarm from the battery to keep it from being triggered, but with the alarm disconnected, my car will not start.  Is there a simple way I can disconnect the alarm, or disable it.  Or is there a way to remove my key from the ignition so I can just shut the alarm off manually?

Answer
Sorry, this one is a mechanical issue. The alarm and
all other features depend on the ignition being
right. If not, you will always get the reaction
you have been.

You really need to have that repaired before you
can get into the rest. Sorry but not alot
can be done from my expertise point of view (alarms)
until that's done I am afraid.

Call Nissan for confirmation on that, but it's
cart before the horse on this one.
