Car Alarms: How to disable an alarm system, 2005 nissan altima, nissan altima

Question
I have a 2005 Nissan Altima and I haven't had it for three months and now it just won't start. When I go to turn the key in the ignition it shuts off all electric power in the car, the interior lights, power locks, and horn wont work. It is as if the car believes that I am trying to steal it so it shuts off all electric power to prevent that. It won't even allow me to put it in neutral to move it from its current spot. Is there any way to disconnnect the alarm system so that I can at least move it to go have it fixed?

Answer
No unfortunately not.
This is the Nissan Smart key system
and it does not recognise your key any longer.

Call Nissan to see if it can be done on the phone,
but it's more likely they will tell you to
bring it in (tow) so they can diagnose,
& reprogram new keys to it.

Sorry, nothing you can do on your own I'm afraid.

Good luck.
