Car Alarms: 1997 eclipse gsx, eclipse gsx, dash area

Question
I just bought this car from a friend of mine and it has a viper 600esp installed. well both black boxes were in the back seat so i was under the impression it was now uninstalled but after putting over 500 into the ignition system and still getting no spark out of the plugs i kinda figured just try to plug the boxes back in... it started right up but after about 3 miles of freeway, the car did it again while i was driving. i pulled over and poped the hood, no spark. i have no manuals, no transmitter, and no way to talk to the installer. how can i just take the whole alarm out or just fix this problem???

Answer
To remove it, get the wiring chart for the
Camaro at www.MYWIRES.com for 4.99 to reverse
engineer.

The system probably has a valet switch.
Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.

I hope this helps you.
