Car Alarms: Car Alarm for 1999 Toyota Camry, toyota camry, alarm features

I cannot start the ignition on my 1999 Toyota Camry. I had to unlock the door with the key because the alarm remote would not unlock the car. After using the key my ignition has locked and I cannot start my car. Is it simply a problem with the remote or is it the entire alarm system. (I believe it's a after market alarm because the siren sounds)

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
