Car Alarms: 2004 accord ex alarm, honda service, remote start

i received the car with no keyless remote, but got my hands on a new remote. I was able to program the remote so the doors and trunks unlocks and locks. However i am not able to start the car with that remote. is there anything i can do about that?

Add remote start to the vehicle. It's not
a standard feature. That's if you are saying
you want the remote to start the car.

If you are saying the key you purchased does not start
the car, Honda will need to program it to the
system to allow the starting of the engine.

Get in touch with whom ever sold you the remote
to verify that, and Honda service dept. to get that
programmed to the transmod immobilizer in the ignition.
