Car Alarms: jeep alarm, jeep wrangler tj, jeep wrangler

i have a 2003 jeep wrangler tj which i bought used and it has an alarm system on it.  it came with a keyless entry which does function.  i have hooked up the battery after this jeep had been sitting for about 6 months and i dont know how to use this system or what it is...thanks darryl

This is not uncommon, & is asked about quite
often. The answer I usually give here is to go to
www.KEYLESSRIDE.com or, www.AUTOTECHS.com ,
or, www.REMOTESUNLIMITED.com
and identify what remote you have by the FCC ID#
on the back. These are all specialty shops designed
to provide replacement transmitters.

Then you can either track back to the
manufacturer to get the manual,
and try to salvage the old system,
or you can simply purchase another,
new and warrantied system.
