Car Alarms: 2002 subaru forester alarm, subaru forester, keyless entry

my keyless remote has died (not just the battery). is it easy to buy an aftermarket to reprogram (or is it $$$ to reprogram from the dealer? or is it possible to disarm the alarm with just one of the keys (w/o using the keyless entry)? thanks

No on this one, the factory remote is soley
controlled by the factory remote. You will need
to go to Subaru or you can try www.REMOTES4YOU.com
and try to aquire them there.

But again, no way around this one unfortunately.
