Car Alarms: 98 Civic alarm override not working, transpoder, locks

Question
I've lost the remote which activates the alarm, but when I maually unlock the car and the push what is supposed to override the alarm it doesn't stop.  It's a factory installed alarm.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, no.

The options here are either buy a new
transpoder ignition key
(I know, very expensive) or add
an aftermarlet system.

The factory system depends on the locks
to arm and disarm. Noo way around that.
