Car Alarms: viper activation sound, exact model number, valet mode

Question
I pushed the silent button of my viper alarm and now i can not activate it to sound when i lock the doors.?
i dont know how to make my alarm sound again. i have tried some combinations but nothing proved to be usefull. so the doors are closed now but the alarm doesnt sound. what should i do...

Open the door, press lock unlock lock.  It sounds as if you have put the system in valet mode.  This will take the system out of valet mode.  If this does not work, post the exact model number of your system and I will see what I can do about finding your owner's manual.
