Car Alarms: carbine car alarm, starter wire, ign

have 91 vette with after market alarm. key pad says "carbine". how do i disable this alarm, its irritating!!!!!.

and yes, they can be. There is no way to disable
it or change the code. Needs to come out I'm
afraid.

You'll want to get up under the dash, locate
the starter wire, (the one wire in the ign.
that shows 12 volts ONLY when cranking.)
Cut off the carbine wires connected, then reattach
the 2 free ends of the starter wire. All gone.

I understand. It is annoying, but you
must admit, they do accomplish
what they are intended to do, right?
