Car Alarms: 01 Izuzu Rodeo, izuzu rodeo, cascade effect

Question
QUESTION: I have an 01 Izuzu Rodeo and the door locks just stopped working on the inside of the car.  The key fob allows you to unlock only the drivers door.  It will not lock the car, when you hit lock it will do nothing, except for when the door is open.  If the door is open it will honk the horn twice just as a reminder that the door is not shut.  Any info will be greatly appreciated.

ANSWER: This sounds like the factory keyless needs to be inspected
at Isuzu. My guess here is that the anti-theft system
has malfunctioned and needs to be reset.

Also, the switch may be burnt on the door. This can cause
a cascade effect like yours if a circuit board got
wet some how etc...

Have them check that as well.

That's my take on it.

I hope it's something cheap!

QUESTION: The crazy thing is that the engine still runs fine, etc etc, but none of the door locks work inside-driver or passenger.  Ive been trying to find some info online, with no luck.  Any further comment would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the quick response-hopefully not expensive

Answer
Thanks for the cudo's.
Let's check under the hood at the master fuses.
It is entirely possible that you might have a blown fuse.

You also have a fuse box under the dash, but I am leaning
towards the master box. Did you have work done on or
near this time? And of course the switch on the door for
lock/unlock defeat is off right?

Just playin Devils Advocate here.
